Setting off at 28/1, the horse jumped well and surprised many by gaining a 7 length lead around the second last, but didn’t have enough fuel in the tank to keep the lead. His stride began shortening on the final stretch and he was beaten to the finish by I Am Maximus and Iroko.
Still, a very promising run from a first timer.
