Minellacelebration Grand National Wins
Minellacelebration has never won the Grand National.
They have never finished the race.
Minellacelebration, trained by Katy Price, found his way to one Grand National during his career, which was in 2021. He unseated his rider that day, ending his race at the 11th fence after looking as though he was in a good rhythm.
Foaled in 2010, the horse had an unusually long point to point career before moving under rules, something that did give him a lot of jumping experience in his earlier years.
He was unable to land any graded contests or big handicaps but is a horse that will be remembered for his successes at Uttoxeter. He won the Staffordshire Plate on two consecutive years there, then went on to win the Summer Plate, two of the biggest races held at the track.

Minellacelebration Early Years
An unusual start to the career of Minellacelebration led to a lot of time in the point to point field, which gave him plenty of wins early on. He ran in one point to point initially before going under rules and running in two national hunt flat races, all came without success.
But instead of continuing under rules, he went back to point-to-point races and ran in another eight of those. He was never outside of the first three and won four of them. Three of those four wins were with a margin of double figures. It was impressive and would lead him to a move across to the UK, where he would go hurdling for Katy Price.
He was kept busy, running nine times in his first season in the UK, all over hurdles, and resulting in three wins. The following year he would go chasing, with plenty of experience already, and won on his second start, a novice handicap chase at Aintree. A further two wins would come that season, taking his rating up to a new level.
Minellacelebration Big Race Wins
Little came for Minellacelebration in the way of wins at graded level or in top-class handicaps. His success at Uttoxeter is worth another mention, though. Both the Staffordshire Plate and Summer Plate are class 2 handicaps at the course, the feature races on their day, and two of the most significant events to take place there.
This may not be the top level or success at a big track, but in terms of what he did at Uttoxeter, he became a hero on that course for those three wins.
