Monty's Star has never won the Grand National.
Their best finish to date was in 2026 where they came 10th. They were ridden by Darragh O’Keeffe and trained by Henry De Bromhead.
With odds of 14/1, many punters obviously fancied Monty’s Star in his first Grand National in 2026.
The horse was making a challenge for the race but hit the 26th fence which slowed his momentum, then he lost second place just before 2 out and weakened from that point on.
