Robert Dunne has never won the Grand National.
Their best finish to date was in 2016 with Vics Canvas who came 3rd.
Robert Dunne rode his first Grand National in 2016 and featured every year after until 2019. He was back in 2026 after a six year absence, but things did not go well, as his horse Stellar Story fell at the 19th.
Interestingly, or perhaps disappointingly, Dunne’s Grand National career has gotten worse every year he has returned. He finished in 3rd place on his debut outing, but his finishing position got worse every year since until eventually, in 2026, he didn’t finish the course at all.
