Tom Bellamy Grand National Wins
Tom Bellamy has never won the Grand National.
They have never finished the race.
Jockey Tom Bellamy spent quite a few years doing well in racing before landing his first Grand National ride. That was in 2022, but Bellamy didn’t last long on the horse as he was a third fence faller in the race on Éclair Surf.
An English jockey, Bellamy has partnered up with the likes of Emma Lavelle and Alan King over the years, never being a number one stable jockey but being a regular on their horses and being the one to step in when injuries struck.
He is the son of former jump jockey Robert Bellamy, so it is fair to say that being a rider must run in the family. Tom had his first ever ride under rules at just 16 years old, riding at Ffos Las on November 22nd, 2010, and managing to finish third in that debut, a good start.
Bellamy has often had rides at bigger meetings, such as the Grand National meeting and Cheltenham Festival, but has yet to really turn that into winners, something he will be hoping to do in the next segment of his riding career

2025 Fall on Broadway Boy

That early fall in his debut Grand National attempt was an omen of things to come, sadly.
In the 2025 renewal, Bellamy took part in the race for the second time. He was riding Broadway Boy, a Nigel Twiston-Davies trained horse who set off at 66/1. So when Bellamy found himself at the front of the pack approaching the 25th fence, Valentine’s Brook, he must have been fancying his chances.
He took Broadway Boy over the fence first, but a mistake on landing led to a horrific fall that made onlookers gasp, fearing the worst. Luckily, both the horse and the jockey were ok, although Bellamy suffered a broken wrist. Broadway Boy escaped without any significant injuries but was reportedly very stiff and sore in the weeks that followed.
