Latenightpass 2024

Foaled in February 2013 and kept within the SkeltonĀ  / Ellis training ring. Owner Mrs Pippa Ellis (Trainer Tom Ellis’ mother) has homebred Latenightpass and most of his rides have been under jockey Miss Gina Andrews who is the owner’s daughter in law and Trainer Tom Ellis’ wife. Stabled in Warwickshire, UK.

Latenightpass has had a brief stint in Dan Skelton’s trainer yard but returned back to Tom Ellis for reasons unknown, however it appears that Dan Skelton will have used his Cheltenham experience to give him a ride there. One of a diminishing cohort of British grade one worthy horse trainers.

This horse has proved to excel in point to point races with Miss Gina Andrews in the saddle, taking many wins from January 2019 onwards. This year in year out record will have given Miss Gina Andrews and all around the horse food for thought about his potential for rules races and upping the anti.

Starting price odds for Latenightpass were obviously going to be long at 50/1; nobody really knows of this trainer nor the jockey.

He has got successful previous experiences at Aintree in the Fox Hunters Chase (amateur riders race) in 2022 and 2023.

We think there was a bit of a ‘go on, lets give him his chance’ discussion taking place between husband and wife team Tom Ellis and Gina Andrews.
