Sam Ewing Grand National Wins
Sam Ewing has never won the Grand National.
Their best finish to date was in 2024 with Galvin who came 4th.

Born in 2004, Sam Ewing has quickly made a name for himself in Ireland as a jockey to watch, and done so from a very young age.
The transition to race riding under rules for him has been seamless, translating the skills he learnt as a youngster and developing them even further.
He would land over 100 victories in his younger days on the amateur flapping scene, and that would include winning one of the bigger amateur races at just 13 years old, the ‘Dingle Derby’.
He would make his professional riding debut in July 2020, and not too long after that, he rode his first professional winner, which came at Cork Racecourse.
As for the Grand National, being associated with a yard as big and talented as the Gordon Elliott yard, he was always going to get a chance in the race at some point, and his debut came in 2024. He would ride Galvin in the race, and they would complete the course and finish 4th, an excellent run by the horse, and great introduction by Ewing, further cementing himself as a talented young jockey.
In terms of winning at the top level, Ewing would land his first Grade One success on one of the biggest stages. It came at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival and was for his boss Gordon Elliott.
The pair teamed up to win the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle with Stellar Story, a first taste of success, of what is likely to be many, for Ewing at the top level.
